I wanted to take the time to offer a little advice when it comes to marketing your business.
I have been involved in Radio Marketing (radio commercials), Corporate Business to Business Marketing, Music/Entertainment Industry Marketing and other marketing experience.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON RESULTS I HAVE EXPERIENCED :

The first year for this business was tough because they relied on advertisement companies like Yellow Pages and other companies.. Yellow Pages alone was $400.00 per month!!!!
These companies did not generate leads or appointments for this company, but money was continuously going down the drain.
I am thankful to say since ASK Marketing Internet.com has come on board they have had continuous appointments almost every day for the last couple of years.
So my intention in making and sharing this blog is assist you with some tips that have worked for me.
FREE MARKETING TIPS TO CONSIDER:
1. Of course you want to inform all of your friends, family etc of your services and your business.
2. Don't rely on just family and friends (regardless of what AT&T says..LOL) you must move beyond family and friends or you may find yourself not generating any profit.
3. Piggyback; "piggyback marketing is a low cost market entry strategy in which two or more firms represent one another's complementary yet non-competing products in the markets".

You may link up with another company that is already known, popular, or generates a lot of customers. You may ask them to mention you in their ad or on their website and you will do the same for them on your flyers, blog, website, etc.
4. Flyers. Make flyers and post them wherever you feel your potential customers may see them. College dorm, Laundromat, child care center, etc.
5. Email blast (well this isn't free but may be worth your while).
6. Craigslist. I think this may be the most overlooked form of marketing. But there are tips and tricks to making it work for you and bring in the bucks.
7. Twitter. http://www.twitter.com/ you can build a following there leading them to your website, advertisement online etc.
8. If you can invest money into your business, please get yourself a website. You can do so much with a website and it will help you to market yourself 24/7. Please check out http://www.amanahhosts.com/.
9. Get a magnent banner for your car (again not free but you can buy this pretty cheap from various places online or your hometown).
